<p>Its Saturday morning, and as I reflect on this week there were triumphs and, well&#8230; slacking!  Good thing its only day 38 of the <a title="body by vi" href="http://budurl.com/bodybyvi" target="_blank">Body By Vi Challenge</a> and I have plenty of time to get back up and push forward with more intensity!</p>
<p>I actually worked out a full 5 days this week:</p>
<p>Monday was 60 minutes of <a title="zumba" href="http://my-body-by-vi.com/2009/08/04/zumba-gratitude-day-14-of-the-visalus-body-by-vi-challenge/" target="_blank">zumba</a>.<br />
Tuesday 60 minutes of <a title="kickboxing" href="http://my-body-by-vi.com/2009/07/30/do-women-need-to-strength-training-to-lose-weight-visalus-body-by-vi-fitness-challenge/" target="_blank">kickboxing</a>.<br />
Wednesday was 30 minutes of a high intensity step class followed by 60 minutes of strength training.<br />
Thursday was 60 minutes of Zumba.<br />
Friday was 20 minutes on the elliptical trainer followed by 60 minutes of <a title="strenght training for women" href="http://my-body-by-vi.com/2009/07/30/do-women-need-to-strength-training-to-lose-weight-visalus-body-by-vi-fitness-challenge/" target="_blank">strength training</a>. I increased the weight I was lifting, and felt really strong.</p>
<p>Each day I was up and out in the morning after getting the kids to the bus.  It was easy to resolve to do 5 days of workouts when I had to be up and out with the kids anyway.</p>
<p>So where was the slacking? Why don&#8217;t I feel all fuzzy and happy with my accomplishment?  Because I had ice cream cake and carrot cake and baked apple cake and (part of) a chocolate muffin and half a cinnamon bun!</p>
<p>I had totally gone off sugar.  In fact, I couldn&#8217;t eat it at all for a few months.  The only sugar I had was from the honey in my tea&#8230; and I felt fantastic!  And suddenly this week, I could tolerate it &#8211; I didn&#8217;t feel dizzy and yucky after eating it&#8230; it was just yummy!<br />
And this is NOT good for <a title="womens weight loss" href="http://my-body-by-vi.com/2009/08/16/my-official-bmi-calculation-for-the-visalus-body-by-vi-challenge/" target="_blank">womens weight loss</a>!</p>
<p>I honestly don&#8217;t think I gained more than a pound.  The Vi-Slim with the metabolism boosters and fat burners in the <a title="visalus weight loss" href="http://budurl.com/bodybyvi" target="_blank">ViSalus Transformation kit</a> actually work.. so I still feel good about the way I look and feel.  Didn&#8217;t gain much&#8230; but I certainly didn&#8217;t lose anything either!</p>
<p>How did this all start?  My neighbor came over with a gift for the kids&#8230; ice cream cake.<br />
You see, I don&#8217;t keep ANY sweets in the house.  Nothing that would tempt me, or instill unhealthy snacking habits in my children.  If we have any treats, its outside the house &#8211; and not often.  You won&#8217;t find snack cakes or cookies in my kids lunches either.  Call me a mean Mom &#8211; I know I&#8217;m fueling their brains properly!</p>
<p>So it was a little slice of ice cream cake that started the whole thing&#8230; Then a half a slice of carrot cake at the coffee shop, and a bit of cake at Ikea after shopping and &#8230; well, you get the idea.</p>
<p>You may have been here before? Thinking to yourself, &#8220;Well, I already blew it today, whats one more thing?&#8221;.<br />
&#8216;One more thing&#8217; keeps you at arms length from the &#8216;you&#8217; you want to be!</p>
<p>So I&#8217;m thrilled I have 52 days to go &#8211; because it means I can &#8216;get back on the wagon&#8217;. I can re-commit to my <a title="weight loss goal" href="http://my-body-by-vi.com/2009/08/16/my-official-bmi-calculation-for-the-visalus-body-by-vi-challenge/" target="_blank">weight loss goals</a> and start over with major resolve on Monday to knock the rest of these pounds off, and build up some major muscle.</p>
<p>How will I lose the weight &amp; increase muscle on a daily basis?<br />
~A Trim Slim Shake with frozen fruit for breakfast. 1/2 on the way to the gym, the other half on the way home.<br />
1 Omega capsule- the good fats my brain and body need to revitalize and repair.<br />
~At least 1 hour of exercise 5 days a week, including 2 full hours of strength training.<br />
~A small snack of nuts and fruit or some other lean protein and veggies, with a Neuro mixed with the Vi-Trim appetite suppressant and mood support.  2 Vi-Slim.<br />
~A healthy lunch loaded with veggies and lean protein.<br />
~A small snack of nuts and fruit or some other lean protein and veggies, with a Neuro &amp; 2 Vi-Slim.<br />
~A Trim Slim Shake for dinner, with the Omegas to help my body recover from the morning workouts.<br />
~A late snack &#8211; something healthy that keeps my brain working until I&#8217;m done working.</p>

<p>Let this be a lesson&#8230; you can&#8217;t expect maximum results from anything if you follow the instructions only part of the way.<br />
If you want to lose weight, you can do it slowly by replacing one meal a day with the Trim Slim Shake.<br />
