In May of 2010, ViSalus Sciences sent the winners of the Body By Vi Challenge and the top promoters of the Challenge on a free cruise to Baja Mexico with stops in Catalina and Ensenada.
It was truly an incredible time spent with some of the most positive people on the planet!
I flew out to LAX, where I was met by my good friend Susan Moss – whom I happen to have met on Twitter last year! We drove down to the Port at Long Beach and went to the Queen Mary for lunch before I boarded. Susan is one of the most fun & honest people I know, and I’m thrilled to have good people like her in Hollywood!
I hopped on the ship… the second to the last to board 
and found my cabin so I could prepare for the ViSalus Cocktail reception.
It was wonderful to meet the winners of the first round of the Body By Vi Challenge – the people I’d be spending the next 4 days with!

From a fun day at sea, dinner with conversation so fun my cheeks hurt, to dancing all night – the Vi-Cruise was absolutely incredible!

On Catalina we spent the day with our toes in the sand. We walked the short distance from the dock into town to get some provisions… then made our way to a stretch of sand that we had virtually to ourselves! Our friends went snorkeling… but the waters were a bit cold for this Floridian. Instead I hiked among the rocks and got a good look at the crazy kelp growing thick in the waters. I really think I saw an otter… but I was called crazy woman, so I cant say for sure
Catalina Island
Ensenada was wonderful as well! We traveled from the dock to La Bufadora – one of only 4 blowholes on the planet.
The colors were incredible – the algae, the blue waters, kelp- and the contrast of desert flowers. It was totally awesome!
I was with a bunch of crazy adults on vacation… and thus it was inevitable that we would find the biggest & best bar in Ensenada – Pappas & Beer.
Every city across the world should have a spot this cool. The DJ totally rocked – and spending the afternoon dancing in the sun was probably the highlight of the entire trip for me… maybe
Spending the week with the Body By Vi Challenge winners and top promoters was a trip I feel very blessed to have experienced ~ and one I’d love to repeat each and every year! Join me next time
