ViSalus Sciences was awarded a Direct Selling News Bravo Award Turnaround Award for 2010 at the Direct Selling News Global 100 banquet in Dallas TX on April 27th, 2011.
The Direct Selling News Global 100 is a ranking system that brings transparency to the industry through systematic research. It then recognizes and honors the most successful direct selling companies across the world. The Global 100 banquet was attended by representatives from the top 100 direct selling companies in the world. Representatives came to hear the keynote speech by ViSalus CEO Ryan Blair, from industry leaders and guest speakers and to celebrate financial achievements of 2010.
The Bravo Awards are three very special awards, and were given out at the banquet to direct selling companies that showed outstanding achievement in the categories of Growth, Turn Around, and Leadership.
The Publisher and Editor in Chief of Direct Selling News, John Fleming, said, “The Turnaround Award is the most important of the three because, like in any other industry, we lose companies. When a company that was struggling shows that it is now growing and thriving, it means that thousands of distributors and customers are able to do business again. And that is crucial to our industry.”
